   Scientific and Technical Review Panel

SETAC created an independent selections committee composed of SETAC members from Canada and the United States in a variety of sectors. Through their professional networks, the selections panel canvassed for qualified individuals for the Scientific and Technical Review Panel, reviewing the experience and training of all candidates before making a recommendation to SETAC on the final panel members. Because of the scope of the issues facing the Panel, Panel members represent a variety of technical scientific fields (e.g., public health, engineering, marine ecology) as well as view points from various employment sectors (government, industry, and academia).
